Geography

Our geography curriculum is based around our children understanding their place in the world, and how they fit in it. Our progressive curriculum ensures that children begin units of work by understanding their locality and we gradually widen this globally. 

We put a big focus on fieldwork, allowing children to gain key geographical skills out and about in the community. 

By the end of KS2, children will understand the influence of people on the world, as well as how natural disasters can add to the changes in people's movements and society. We want our children to be able to appreciate and take care of the world around them.
